6th Class Spring Gardening Fun
Learning in the Sunshine
Our 6th Class pupils made the most of the recent fine weather by heading outdoors for some hands-on learning. As part of the Environmental Awareness and Care strand of the curriculum, they explored how caring for our surroundings can have a positive impact.
Busy in the Garden
The children worked together to tidy up our raised beds and planted strawberries and potatoes for the months ahead. They also cleared weeds in the Garden of Life and sowed wildflower seeds in the Biodiversity Garden to support bees and other pollinators.
Caring for Our School
To finish off their busy days, the class carried out a litter pick around the school grounds, helping to keep our environment clean and welcoming. A fantastic effort from a very hardworking and enthusiastic group!
