"The Lost Sheep"

THE ESCAPED LION

One day I was at the circus. There were two men that I could see in the circus ring. They were a lion tamer and a clown. The lion got out of the cage, because it wasn’t locked properly. The lion tamer and the clown panicked. The lion was roaring at them and he had his mouth open ready to eat them. The lion tamer got a chain and went behind the lion. He tricked him and the lion was very angry. The people in the audience said it was a brilliant show but they also said it was scary. I thought it was a brilliant show too.

A SCARY NIGHT

The children were watching a spooky film. Their mom and dad weren’t there. When the film was over they went on their bikes down a long lane. Then, at the end of the lane they tripped over a glass bottle and fell into the field in front of them. When they looked up they saw a bull. It looked very angry. The children were hurt and very frightened. The bull ran to them but the children got away just on time. They ran from the field all the way to their house. They never ever went down the lane again and they never watched a spooky film again.

THE WIZARD’S SPELL

The teacher was writing about power on the blackboard. They were sad. The children wanted to write about a wizard. Suddenly a wizard puffed into the classroom. All the children were amazed. They had never seen a real wizard before. He had long yellow hair and a black hat with stars all over it. The wizard put a spell on the teacher. She started to write about a wizard. They were very happy. They got to write about a wizard and they got no homework!

A BANK ROBBERY

The robbers ran into the bank. They had an empty bag a black jumper and masks over their heads. The robbers took the money from the bank .The children saw them running out and they rang the gardai from the phone box across the road. After the robbers escaped with the money, the children were very frightened. But they knew that the gardai were coming and would catch them. When the guards arrived they couldn’t see them anywhere. They chased after them and saw the car that the robbers were in. They pulled them in and arrested them. They would never forget that day.
